Trail of 10 Falls

For our first hike, we’ll hike the Silver Falls Trail of 10 Falls on Monday August 4. We will meet at 7:30 am at a convenient spot, depending on the relative distance from participants’ homes.

The trail is 7.4 miles long, with total elevation gain of 1,207 feet and is rated moderate. It’s described as family friendly, and starts at the lodge trail head.

There’s a 5 dollars parking fee unless you have a state parks parking permit. We’ll need 1 parking pass per car with four passengers. I have one and will be happy to car pool.

The trail takes around 3.5 hours to complete, stops not included, so bring water, snacks and a lunch. We’ll find a place to eat when we get back to the trail head. Bring hiking poles if you need them.
