Tara Michael, originally from just outside Washington, D.C., traveled to more than 50 countries before settling in Holland the last seven years. Michael founded Global Players, a study abroad program for student-athletes, after being injured playing top level Lacrosse during her university career and studying abroad in Namibia and South Africa. Michael went on to coach and play in Australia, England, and Germany, before coaching the Dutch U19 and Senior Women's National Teams and continuing to build Global Players for nearly a decade. Michael is an energetic Coach, Speaker, and Enthusiast of the value of travel, education, and cultural immersion through the vehicle of sport. In working with Universities, Michael and her team understand the CRM it takes to manage a long sales cycle - from the point of interest to closing a sale maybe 18 months later.
