Have fun and make new friends while learning to dance in a friendly, supportive environment. West Coast Swing is the ideal dance for any club setting, adaptable to almost any music in 4/4 time. This versatility makes it incredibly popular and useful.
West Coast Swing is a "slotted" dance, where dancers follow an imaginary narrow rectangle or "slot." Unique to West Coast Swing, there is no single "basic step." Instead, the basics are composed of 6 and 8 count patterns, incorporating various open and closed dance positions.
No partner is needed, and regardless of your gender identity, you can choose to lead, follow, or do both.
The cost is $15 for one class ($25 for a couple) or $20 for both classes ($35 for a couple).
