Our Ballet Folklorico class is designed for boys and girls 6-12 years old who want to explore the vibrant world of Mexican folk dance.

In this 45-minute class, students will learn:

• Zapateado (footwork) techniques from various Mexican states

• Skirt techniques and movements

• Traditional dance steps and choreography

• Cultural context and history behind the dances

Instructor: Sylvia Bazan, with 15 years of experience

Age Group: 6-12 yrs
Skill Level: Beginners welcome

What to Bring:
Comfortable clothing for movement
Tennis shoes
Water bottle with name
