Discussion Topic: How to Navigate Hybrid Work

Details
For a few years about 80% of the population had the opportunity to work remotely (in the US closer to 90%). Some liked it, some hated it, and some wanted a balance. While there have been some earlier vocal advocates, the true call for a return to work came from Jamie Diamond in February 2025 when he called on the entirety of JP Morgan staff to be back in office. Working from home most of the time is the best situation for some. Full time in the office is best for others. And hybrid with the flexibility to chose your own adventure is the best for most. Come chat about your favorite policy, how you like to work, and how it has impacted your physical and mental health!
I'll repost these links and any new ones here and in the LinkedIn the Friday before the meeting. Hope to see you there!!
(PS, some of these are very long and intended as reference texts, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not feel the need to read all the way through things like the EEOC mandate)

This session continues our 2025 arc focusing on group discussions about technologies and dynamics in the data space. Each month we'll have a different topic and the Friday before we will send around an article, video, data set, or other piece of content to spark our conversation. If there are any specific topics you're interested in please reach out and we will make it happen!
