Milky Way at Mirror Lake

Details

Milky Way Photography in the Uintas.

We will meet in the Mirror Lake Parking Lot as it is a great location to meet up at 9:00 PM. At 9:30 PM we will head out to our first location. If all goes well, we will go to two different sites that night.

True darkness starts at 10:32 PM and the core will drop below the horizon at 2:43 AM. So that is our window.

If you are interested in camping, you can reserve campsites at multiple sites around the area. Most sites allow reservations six months out which lands at the end of January. Therefore I am posting this now to allow you to grab a campsite. I know I am.

Below are links to the two most likely shooting locations, which I have done multiple times.
