Sunrise Hike at Ensign Peak

Let’s go on a sunrise hike! We’ll hike to the top of Ensign Peak to catch the sunrise over the Salt Lake Valley!

This trail is about 0.9 miles out and back with a moderate, steady climb. We will meet at 6 am at the trailhead, where street parking is available. You can also find historical information about the area, including its use by Native American tribes and early Mormon settlers at the trailhead and the monument at the peak.

At the top, we’ll see panoramic views of the entire valley, The Great Salt Lake, and the surrounding mountain ranges!
