Intro to Magical Alphabets

The mission statement of Crone’s Hollow is to “provide a positive Craft experience for all seekers.” Part of fulfilling this mission is offering introductory classes and workshops on Pagan and Pagan-friendly paths.

In this class we will be exploring several of the many written character symbol systems used for Magic and Divination.

The sharing of myth and lore took a big step with the introduction of the written word. Stories were then able to be shared and continued being passed on for centuries, a major legacy with the mysteries both shared and hidden in plain sight. From rock wall art the world over, Egyptian hieroglyphs, Runes and Oghams, the language of the magical alphabets are a key to occult mysteries and spellworking.
