Functional Programming Kata @ Nosto

Details

We will do a coding dojo with a functional programming twist! Together we will expore the benefits and challenges of functional programming in 2 iterations.

What to Expect
For this kata you do not need any experience with functional programming or functional programming languages. Instead we will present a set of guidelines that push you to develop in a more functional way.

We'll work in pairs, sharing a laptop, so you’ll get the chance to collaborate, learn from others, and grow your skills. If you’re new to Coding Dojos, don’t worry! This is a friendly environment where we learn by doing.

Who’s Welcome?
Everyone! Whether you're a seasoned developer or just getting started, come with curiosity and a passion for coding.

What should I bring?
A laptop with a development environment, including a test-framework, in the programming language of your preference. Prepared means: A few mouse clicks or key-shortcuts, and a dummy-unit test is green. For reference, you can take one of these template projects:

Location & Host
This edition of the meetup is proudly hosted by Findologic – a Nosto company.

We're excited to welcome you with:

🍻 A great selection of drinks – including 8 types of beer, cider, and a wide range of non-alcoholic options
🌤️ And if the weather is kind, we’ll be hanging out on our beautiful rooftop terrace

We’d be happy to see you there!
