Robert Maier, Engineering Manager at Red Bull Media House will share key strategies for optimizing images for the web, focusing on how to achieve the perfect balance between quality and performance. He’ll discuss selecting the right image formats and sizes and the benefits of next-generation formats. Drawing from his experience working on redbull.com Robert will provide practical tips on creating high-performance images that enhance user experience and ensure fast load times.

How can you measure productivity in software engineering? Julian Fammler, a senior consultant at GOFORE, will explore the DevOps Research and Assessment (DORA) metrics, demonstrating how they can transform your development workflow. With multiple years of hands-on experience, Julian will share lessons learned, providing practical guidance on effectively integrating DORA metrics into your processes. Whether you're new to DORA or looking to enhance your current practices, this session promises valuable insights for both young and seasoned professionals.

Halleiner Landesstraße 24, 5061 Elsbethen. The event takes place in the Auditorium in Building 1.

Transportation Options:

• For public transportation, bus lines 160 and 165 have a stop near the main entrance. Alternatively, you can take bus line 7 or the S-Bahn to Salzburg Süd, which is a short 5-10 minute walk away.
• When you've arrived at the Red Bull Base please drive to the entrance with the barrier ("Schranken"). There will be a person guiding you the way to the Auditorium in Building 1 where the meetup takes place
