Samba Swing Brazilian Drumming Group is a vibrant percussion ensemble founded by Cayo Santana, bringing the powerful, joyful rhythms of Brazil to life in Calgary. Inspired by the rich traditions of samba from Rio de Janeiro and afro-Brazilian beats from Salvador, the group creates an unforgettable experience through live drumming and cultural connection.
We welcome al levels - from beginners to experienced drummers - to join our practices, performances, and community events. Our mission is to build a diverse and inclusive drumming family that celebrates Brazilian culture through rhythm, movement, and energy.
