Welcome!
This group is for anyone in the Washington DC area who enjoys meeting new people and celebrating circumnavigating the sun on this rock we call home (while it may seem easy, it is often a much more difficult feat than it appears); connecting over the fun coincidence of sharing the same birthday with someone else. We know there's technically about a 1/365 chance of this happening, but why be negative and dismissive based on some statistic, let's just have some fun and enjoy the little fun quirky things in life.
We hope to be a recurring social group that hosts regular hangouts, meetups, and celebration-themed events organized around specific shared birthdays (“birthday twins”) for anyone who enjoys a fun, light-hearted social environment.
Whether you’re looking to meet new people or are just away from those you'd typically celebrate with, or any other reason, you're welcome here!
We plan to host events throughout the year at cafés, bars, parks, or any other public venues y'all may suggest around DC. The goal is to build a friendly, inclusive community of people who enjoy connecting over birthdays and shared experiences.
