The Secular Alliance of Michigan (SAM) Meetup group is pleased to host, in partnership with the Troy–area Interfaith Group, our Annual National Day of Prayer and Reflection. Join neighbors of every background—religious, secular, and humanist alike—as we honor our shared values of Peace, Understanding, and Compassion.

**Featured Speaker**
Kelsey Sill will represent the nonreligious community. A lifelong atheist who attended Catholic services through age 9 yet never believed in any deity, Kelsey now lives in Macomb County and has practiced law in Wayne County for five years—championing domestic‑violence survivors, low‑income tenants, and unrepresented litigants. As a staunch advocate for justice, she led her law school’s LGBTQ+ group and Women’s Law Caucus and served as vice‑chair of her legal‑aid union. Kelsey’s work is driven by her conviction that everyone deserves fair treatment under the law, irrespective of religious belief.

**What to Expect**
- Reflections and readings from a spectrum of faith traditions
- Kelsey’s secular perspective on compassion, justice, and community
- Small‑group conversations to foster genuine dialogue
- Light refreshments immediately after the program

Whether you join to listen, to share, or simply to stand in solidarity, your presence enriches our community. Please RSVP here on the SAM Meetup page to save your seat!
