Details
If talk therapy hasn’t felt like the whole answer—or if you’re simply curious about more embodied ways to support your wellbeing—this 45-minute virtual event offers an introduction to practices that center the mind, body, and spirit.
Join Topher Scott, LPC Associate, RYT-200 (Supervised by Lesley Smith, LPC-S) for a 45-minute experiential talk, followed by a Q&A, where you'll be guided through foundational practices that can help you reconnect with your body, reduce stress, and feel more grounded in daily life.
Together, we’ll explore:
- Breathwork to regulate and calm the nervous system
- Seated yogic postures (accessible for all bodies) to support stability and presence
- Mindfulness practices that encourage awareness and emotional resilience
- Polyvagal-informed somatic tools that support balance, safety, and embodiment
This event is for anyone who’s feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply curious about alternative ways to support healing and integration. No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to show up and try something new.
What to expect:
- A 45-minute live talk with guided practices woven throughout
- Time at the end for Q&A and brief reflection
- Practices that can be done seated, with options for all mobility levels
