Analyzing San Antonio bike crash data with RShiny

Details

I love to go out for a weekend bike ride when I can, but where can I ride safely? In this talk, Jack Turek will present work he's done in creating a dashboard about bicycle and pedestrian crashes in San Antonio. Join us as he walks us through the process of collecting the data from TxDOT, processing it, and putting together a dashboard in RShiny.

About the speaker:
Jack Turek is a USMC veteran and a self-taught data scientist. He currently works in tech consulting with EY and is interested in applying data science techniques to urban planning & public transportation issues.
