Conditions of the Shahada (Testimony of Faith)

As the first of the five pillars in Islam, it is important to understand the conditions and implications of this testimony. New Muslims recite this upon accepting Islam. Our daily prayer contains this testimony as well. This is the only pillar of Islam that has no exceptions or dispensation. We will discuss the conditions of the Shahada and what they mean to the Believer.
