Castroville Regional Park Blacklight + Insects

Insects Survey (8:00pm - 10:00pm) at Castroville Regional Park on the Medina River. CNC event. Come help us discover which species show up attracted to light! Watch for beetles, flies, moths, and more, all with a wide range of shapes, colors, and important ecological roles. No experience needed, just interest. Practice photography skills and log volunteer time.

What to bring: Fully-charged camera or Smartphone, and an auxiliary light or a flashlight to aid nighttime photography.
