Set Up Your AI Workbench, Then Build Your AI Skills With Us

One evening, hands on. You'll leave with your own AI assistant, connected to the tools you already use.
This is the kickoff for our 2026–2027 season and a new way of learning together. There's no expert on a stage and no passive audience. We'll cover two simple ideas, then you'll build, at a table (or virtual table) of peers, with help close by.

This is available to anyone everywhere. In-person and Zoom option.

What you'll walk out with
Your own AI workbench: a personal Claude account connected to:

• Gmail
• Google Calendar
• GitHub
• Google Drive

Before you leave, you'll use it on one real task from your own week.

How the evening works

• 6:00 PM: Appetizers, friends, and an early setup table (in person)
• 6:30 PM: Zoom begins. Two simple ideas, in 12 minutes
• 6:45 PM: Build it, hands on, with your table
• 7:15 PM: Share what your assistant did for you
• 7:30 PM: Wrap-up and your follow-up exercise

No coding or AI experience needed.

Before you come

• Required: set up a Gmail account. We'll connect it during the session.
• Recommended (about 15 minutes): create free accounts at claude.ai and github.com. Please use personal accounts, not your work ones.
• Bring: a laptop (a phone isn't enough), your Gmail password, and your phone for sign-in codes.

Why a workbench?
You'll build in it (we are using Claude for simplification - you are welcome to use your tool of choice, yet we are only able to support Claude, specifically) on every learning path we're launching this year:

• Building with AI: map a real workflow, find where AI helps, then build and test the change.
• AI-Native Small Business: shared cases and exercises for exploring or launching an AI-services business.

After the session
There's a 1–2 hour follow-up exercise: hand your workbench one real weekly task, time it before and after, and share what you learned with the group. That's where the learning sticks. We call it sweat equity.
