If you're interested in building a thriving, affordable, walkable, bikeable, and safer San Antonio, join us! As a Strong Towns Local Conversation (STLC), we are part of the Strong Towns movement to advocate for a pattern of development that is financially strong and resilient.
Urbanists come from a wide variety of backgrounds, but most believe in the following:
-A more connected San Antonio that is easy to get around
-Gentle density
-A multimodal transportation network
-Improved safety for all street users: pedestrians, cyclists, cars, wheelchairs, strollers, etc.
-Diverse housing for all lifestyles and incomes
-Inclusivity and the value of thoughtful debate
