Hike and Lunch

Our July hike will be an easy short 1.8 mile loop with elevation gain of 183 Ft at Milagro Ridge off of Sharp Park Road, Pacifica.

Meet at 10:10 at Trinity Presbyterian Church parking to carpool or at the Milagro Ridge trailhead around 10:35. Bring lunch, snacks, drinks. Dress in layers.

There will be beautiful views. We may see endangered species such as the red-legged frog, Mission Blue, and San Bruno elfin butterflies. The area was originally used for farming in the 1820s after the Mexican Revolution. In World War II there was a gun battery here to protect the coast. In the 1950s there was a missile launch site.
