Their sound is a high-energy blend of Afro-Cuban rhythms, Stax-inspired horn lines, surf/fuzz guitar riffs, deep pocket bass grooves, & swinging backbeats. Originally formed in 2022, The Cometeers released their self-titled debut EP in 2023.

Their musical influences span decades & continents, drawing from artists like Led Zeppelin, James Brown, JB Horns, Fela Kuti, Poncho Sanchez, & Los Destellos. With a focus on bold hooks and a shifting palette of tempos & styles. The Cometeers have one goal: to keep the crowd moving!! 👯
