Local Politics and Green Business Forum—Building a Better San Diego
The San Diego Chapter of the U.S. Green Chamber of Commerce is hosting a free community event to foster a positive, constructive dialogue between public officials and community members on the sustainable business economy in San Diego. Public officials and those running for public office to represent the greater San Diego region will speak directly with members of the public about the current and future sustainable business economy in San Diego.
When: Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Where: Center for Sustainable Energy, 9325 Sky Park Ct #100, San Diego, CA 92123
Participants: Doug Applegate, Democratic candidate for California’s U.S. House of Representatives 49th Congressional District; and Lisa Shaffer, City of Encinitas Deputy Mayor.
The panel discussion-style format will include short individual presentations by speakers, followed by Q&A, and a networking/meet & greet. Light refreshments will be served following the presentation.
The event is intended to create a friendly, receptive venue for speakers to energize voters and to foster a positive, constructive dialogue about our green business economy.
