Name: Easy Hike - Lake Hodges Trails

The terrain is dirt trails with small grades up/down. Please note that we have done these trails for many years, and our pace is 3 or so miles per hour. So please be aware if you are planning on joining us. Look for the group gathering as you enter the parking lot. We meet at 4:55 start at 5:00, or earlier if all are there.

We will alternate these trails

North Shore Lake Hodges Trail

Bernardo Bay Trail

Piedras Pintadas (aka waterfall) Trail {Yes - there IS a waterfall at Lake Hodges!}

While the hike is easy, the pace of this hike is not slow (ie about 3 miles per hour). If you aren't sure if you can keep up, try walking around a track at a local high school. You should be able to do 6 laps in 30 minutes without difficulty.

This hike repeats every Mon evening-- Gather at 4:55

18448 Rancho Bernardo Community Park (for driving directions) (off West Bernardo Drive.)

Exit I15 at Pomerado Rd/West Bernardo Dr. Go West/South to first traffic light by Casa De Las Campanas. Turn into park.

We will meet at 4:55 in the parking lot just to your left once you turn onto Rancho Bernardo Comm. Park, just before the basketball courts (NOT the red marker on the map). See my meetup pictures for maps.
