Porting C++ to C++11 and beyond

Hi everyone! I'm pleased to announce that David Barto will be making a presentation to our group this month!

C++11, 14 and 17 bring great new things to the language. This talk explores the upsides to porting existing C++ code to C++11 and some pitfalls that David has had in making that transition. He will cover new features like std::thread and range based for loops as well as how the auto keyword is your friend.
