CANICROSS RUN - LAKE HODGES BRIDGE TO FELICITA CREEK TRAIL

Felicita Creek is a peaceful meandering trail through the north east section of Lake Hodges. The run is an approximate 5.5 mi loop.
Trail is flat & well groomed with lots of curves to play with. Yahoo!

Come by 6:45 to give yourself time to gear-up. Run starts at promptly at 7:00 AM.

Meet us at, 19140 W Bernardo Dr. San Diego at the Piedras Pintadas parking lot, located a short distance south of the pedestrian bridge. Look closely for signage.

DM Hosts directly for guidance if necessary.

If you RSVP and can't make it, please "Cancel" your RSVP before the start of the run.

Suggested Equipment:

1. Hiker's or Runner's Hands-free belt (Not necessary but will make it a more comfortable run.)
2. Dog Harness with leash attachment ring on the back. No "run restricting" harnesses.
3. Dog Leash or Canicross Bungee leash.
4. Water & Treats - For you, and your dog.
5. Wag Bags provided at Park.
*Please, no dogs under one year old. Their bodies are not fully developed yet and need a bit more time to grow before pulling in a harness.
** Dogs with shorter muzzles, i.e Pit Bulls, Boxers, etc. are not well suited for canicross running, because of strained breathing issues, and heart stress. I'd hate to have anything bad happen to your pup.
***To protect the safety of your dog and other dogs at the meet-up, if your dog shows signs of aggression or aggression towards other dogs, we will have to ask you to leave the meet-up. If your dog damages ANYONE,...You are responsible for the Vet bill and medical bills.
