Fall 2017 Art Show Submission: Synesthesia

Details
Synesthesia - Code Kitchen Art Show
We are now accepting submissions for Code Kitchen's Fall 2017 Art Show, Synesthesia. The show will be held during the first two weeks of September (opening date TBD).
Concept
Synesthesia is a human condition that occurs when senses mix and create unconventional experiences in response to stimuli.
Examples include:
● Hearing color
● Seeing geometry in nature
● Feeling music
● Visualizing the passing of time
Submission Criteria
Synesthesia will explore the nuanced experiences that generate from this neurological phenomenon. The show welcomes pieces that mix, blend, mush together and otherwise alter various inputs and outputs relevant to the human experience.
Pieces need not directly map one sense to another (e.g. tasting colors), but should allow the viewer to use their senses in a new and unfamiliar way. Artists may also explore non-human or even completely invented senses.
