June Meetup: ggplot2 and RPostgreSQL

Details
6/11/13 Update
We're up to 62 RSVPs, which is greater than the seating capacity of the room (approximately 45 comfortably). Please be aware that it will likely be standing room only.
5/24/13 Update
John McNeil (http://mcneilco.com/) has graciously provided space for our June meetup. Food will be provided and there is a great outdoor area to hang out in before/after. I will be discussing the fundamentals of ggplot (http://ggplot2.org/) as well as running through some more advanced projects from my work. Joe Conway (http://www.joeconway.com/) will be showcasing the RPostgreSQL (http://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/RPostgreSQL/index.html) package he authored.
I look forward to seeing everyone there.

Hi everyone, my name is Kevin Davenport. I have been collaborating with Dr. Derren Barken over the last couple months on rebooting the San Diego R user group. Dr. Barken has done an excellent job managing and executing this user group on his own the last few years, but has some time restricting commitments so I've come on board to co-chair the group. I intend for the meetings to initially be held quarterly and serve as an avenue for local R users to present and exchange their experiences and ideas around the usage of R. The R-user group's primary focus will be R, but can also focus on all open-source data analysis tools, including Python, WEKA, Sage, etc. I'm in the process of finalizing a space for our next meeting on data visualization and gradient boosting. If anyone is interested in presenting a topic at the next meeting please send me a message.
P.S. we will also be discussing the The 2013 R User Conference (http://www3.uclm.es/congresos/useR-2013/) held in Albacete, Spain.
