While realizing there hasn't been a lot of Diplomacy gaming in San Diego lately, I wanted to share an event coming up in the Bay Area for anyone interested in making a trip for a full weekend of Diplomacy.

Whipping returns in 2022, hosting DipCon! Join us in San Jose, California on April 29-May 1 for the chance to be crowned the next North American Diplomacy Champion!

The tournament will be held at the De Anza hotel in San Jose.

In addition to the Best Country Bears that Whipping has become famous for, in honor of DipCon, the winner will receive a wooden engraved Diplomacy board with magnetic pieces designed and built by Matt Crill!

There will be four rounds of Diplomacy, and your best three results will count for scoring your tournament ranking (ManorCon scoring).

Schedule is as follows:
Fri, Apr 29: 6:30pm board call
Sat, Apr 30: 9:00am board call
Sat, Apr 30: 6:30pm board call
Sun, May 1: 8:30am board call
Sun, May 1: 3pm awards ceremony

You can play in as few or as many rounds as you like and your schedule allows
