Carlsbad Village Pack Walk

Let's enjoy the fun seaside vibe at the Carlsbad Village! We will start downtown and cross over to walk alongside the gorgeous coast view. We will be focused on distraction training along an easier flat path of mostly sidewalk/asphalt. This route is about 60-75 minutes, depending on pack size.

We have grown an amazing and supportive community. To keep everyone safe and promote a calm environment, by attending our walks you are expected to follow & respect our rules:

1. All dogs must remain on leash at all times, handlers must maintain a 3 foot lead. NO retractable or bungee leashes permitted.
2. NO greeting dogs inside or outside our pack until the walk is over, with permission. Please always keep dogs on leash. We know some dogs are friends, but use this time to practice following structured socialization.
3. Maintain at least a 6 foot distance to prevent nose-to-nose/tail interactions. If your dog is a beginner or reactive, we recommend taking more space if needed, by walking at the back of the pack.
4. Come prepared and advocate for your dog. Bring adequate water, poop bags, treats, etc. Monitor your dog and always do what’s best for them. If your dog is slowing down, consider stopping early. If your dog is panting, request a break to give them some water.

Our Community Pack Leaders will be leading the walk and can answer any questions that come up. We are looking forward to meeting you and your pup!
