This class is great if your dog:
• Gets sore or injured easily
• Lacks motivation or focus during training
• Could benefit from structured movement and mental engagement

What you’ll gain:
• Improved strength, flexibility, and joint mobility
• Better communication and connection with your dog
• Increased focus and confidence

Each week, you and your dog will learn a guided routine that’s easy to follow and can be adjusted to your dog’s individual fitness level. By the end, you’ll have the foundation to confidently continue at home.

Who can join:

What to bring:
• Your dog
• A non-slip yoga mat
• Small, easy-to-feed treats (or part of your dog’s daily meal). Real Dog Box treats will also be available for purchase on-site.
Note: You’ll be handling food throughout the class, so raw meals are not recommended.

Class environment:
This is a structured, no dog-to-dog greeting class. Please give space and respect that not all dogs are social—creating a calm, focused environment helps everyone succeed.

About Your Instructor
Hi, I’m Malory, your dogs’ CCFT! I was born into a family of passionate dog enthusiasts and started with a special interest in training dogs at the young age of 10 years old. In my lifetime, I have trained thousands of dogs and worked under many mentors. I have competed and trained my own dogs and others in Rally Obedience, both AHBA and AKC herding, and conformation. Dogs have always been a passion of mine, and I am always happy to share my knowledge with other dog owners of all walks of life. I became interested in Canine Fitness when I was working with an elderly couple of experienced dog owners who adopted a Dutch Shepherd. They wanted to do right by this dog, but their own physical limitations made it challenging and a bit risky for them with conventional means of recommended exercise like running a dog for miles. Canine Fitness was such a new concept when I discovered it, and I was absolutely intrigued by the idea of being able to give a dog a full body exercise with limited space and a possibly disabled handler. I chose to obtain my CCFT (Certified Canine Fitness Trainer) through University of Tennessee in 2018, and attained my certification a year later in 2019. I chose to further myself in canine fitness and I also work in the field of Canine Physical Rehabilitation under the direct supervision and supported guidance of a veterinary rehabilitation team Tsavo’s Canine Rehabilitation and Fitness Center. My goal is to build stronger dogs mentally and physically, as well as to strengthen the communication and bond between dogs and owners. I am pet CPR and first aid certified.
