What we’re about
This Meetup's need sprang up while browsing Meetup groups a couple of times in last few weeks. I'm venturing to create this group and hope it will live longer than the initial months.
I have lived in San Diego for almost ten years and been busy with work and life with very little time to explore much beyond this existence. What I think is that there could be people like me wanting to expand their living in-spite of whatever limitations.
The plan is to connect and step out ... or vice versa...
We'll celebrate festivals, arrange weekend getaways , potlucks , Discuss technical issues & maybe there could be someone to explain concepts & the issues, Chat & talk beliefs, reasons and history of Indian traditions. It would be great if we could create a network, a support group that could extend even beyond the seas to India... Let us dream , that our group will satisfy our needs to connect and feel secure.
In short we'll do everything that an Expat Indian misses and needs support of community to accomplish.
