What we’re about
We are committed to creating space for feminist activism, culture, and community in San Diego. We sponsor female-only discussions and cultural, social, and political events (such as the Feminist Salon). Our long-term goal is to find a place of our own for a diverse group of females (all ages and colors; lesbian, straight and bisexual; females that include the full range of gender identities, including femme, butch, transman, non-binary, and females who reject gender entirely) to be able to gather and to create bonds of friendship and community; a supportive place to hold lesbian meetings and events; a place to challenge the female-hating forces arrayed against us and to revitalize a vibrant movement for female and lesbian liberation.
