We are extremely happy to invite you to the 3D Hubs San Diego Introduction to Product Design: Fusion 360 Workshop at 3rdspace (http://3rdspace.co/)!

The goal of the workshop is to learn the fundamentals of Fusion 360 while designing a custom lampshade, which you can then print locally via 3D Hubs! Ticket price for this event is $15.00 and includes:

3.5 hour Autodesk Fusion 360 workshop
$15 3D Hubs print voucher

Please make sure you bring a laptop with Fusion 360 installed (http://www.autodesk.com/products/fusion-360/overview)and an external mouse.

3D Printing enthusiasts of all levels are welcome and the workshop will be suitable for middle and high school students, so do feel free to come along with friends or family.

Our goal is to create an informative and fun space to take the first steps into 3D modeling and product design, while still having the satisfaction of leaving with a completed 3D design that is practical, beautiful and ready for print. The lampshade is designed to fit the IKEA SEKOND cord set (http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/90263718/).

We’re especially excited to be hosting the event at 3rd Space. The second highlight is that we’ll have Curtis Chan Fusion 360 Evangelist teaching the workshop, so you’ll have a product expert at your disposal.
