NB: This is a girls' only vacation!
For 2027 I have designed a special vacation which will offer an insider's view of Tuscany. Our family country farmhouse has been completely remodeled and is today a Villa with large bedrooms, complete bathrooms, large dining and living rooms, and patios.
We will live at the Villa for a week and explore the local way of Italian life, we will become part of the landscape.
While tourists drag their heavy bags across the cobblestones of tourist cities, we will actually enjoy living "la dolce vita" on a luxurious estate outside the cities in the countryside.
We will enjoy daily excursions to nearby medieval castle towns, local taverns and wineries, castles, cathedrals, thermal baths, train rides, gourmet meals and wine tasting. A dip in the pool is also refreshing upon return from our daily excursions!
We stop and smell the earth, look at nature's colors and experience the serenity and beauty that surrounds us in the countryside.
We will visit the historic area, cathedrals, markets and stores and encounter the local Tuscan people going about their daily lives. The architecture, the cityscapes, the churches, the paintings and sculptures are spectacular and breathtaking! Experience being part of the landscape with a local and feel what it is actually like to live there--not having to pack & unpack every day!
Planning early is key -- heads up for you and heads up for me! A $500 non-refundable deposits will show your intent to join us in Tuscany May 29 - June 5, 2027.
There are four bedrooms at the Villa, one for me and three other rooms with full bathrooms which can be reserved for single or double occupancy on a first come first served basis. So if you have always wanted to visit Tuscany and see it through the lens of a local to experience our way of life, join me in Tuscany for this once in a lifetime opportunity!
NB: PLEASE BE ABLE TO WALK, CLIMB UP & DOWN STAIRS AND CARRY UOUR OWN BAGGAGE.
