Introduction to Yerba mansa

Details
Join us for a moderate hike in Penasquitos Canyon to visit a beautiful patch of flowering Yerba mansa (Anemopsis californica). We will see and discuss how the habitat where it occurs translates to the conditions that it supports in our bodies. I will also invite you to deepen your sensory perception and connection to nature with a mindful hike and plant meditation. There is still so much flowering in the canyon and we will meet a number of medicinal and native plants along the trail.
Also if you joined us for the last plant walk, I prepared a neurorestorative milky oat oxymel available for purchase.
The hike is approximately 1.5 miles with a moderate to steep half mile at the beginning and end, and we will be seated on the ground for 30 to 40 minutes. Know your capabilities and please bring what you need to be comfortable including water, a cup for tea, blanket or chair to sit on, hat, sunscreen, and hiking boots or closed toed shoes. Please leave your dogs at home for this hike. Thanks for understanding.
