Hi folks, please let us know what you'd like the focus of the club to be.

A few weeks ago I stepped up and took the organizer position of this club. Only two people RSVPed to the next meeting, and only three people answered the survey about what heterodox ideas the club wants to talk about. In this survey you can let us know what you’d like the club to be.

This is just a way to gather ideas from the club members (we will not meet in person to talk about this). You can also answer by leaving a comment below.

In this meeting, we will discuss Sam Harris's very short book Lying. This will focus our conversation about the ethics of lying.

Those who participate in the discussion will be asked to be open-minded, non-judgmental, and willing to consider the merit of other people's opinions.

The meeting place and time are to be announced. Please let us know if Saturday morning works better for you. We look forward to seeing you!

Homework:
1. Read or listen to Lying (audiobook length: 75 minutes)
2. Come up with your own example of an ethical lie, if you can
