Hike Oak Canyon Trail

Time: 9AM | Meet at the trailhead.
This is approximately a 3.3 mile out-and-back trail. The elevation change is approximately 249 feet. This is considered a Moderate route. It will take about 1.5-2 hours to complete.
We will stop for photos and a snack at the mid-way point so do bring your own snacks!
There is free parking. Go all the way to the end of Father Junipero Serra Ave till you reach the dead end and the small parking lot below. Park there or nearby, and then go to the little area of picnic tables right by the Dam. The trailhead is directly down the sandy path, heading west. You can’t miss it if you walk from the parking lot. The trail is well-marked and well-maintained. There are some nice creeks along the way to enjoy.
We will start meeting 10 minutes to 9AM, and we will start hiking at 910AM.
-At least 1.5 liters of water, water bladder
-Good hiking shoes
-Electrolytes
-Snacks & Lunch
-Wear layers, the temperature can change quickly
-Sunscreen
-Bug Spray
-Sunglasses
-Sun hat
-Some clothing with hoods
