San Diego IEEE Consultants' Network August 2026 Meeting ("Away Game")

This month we will join our sister org. the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) for their Free Chapter Summer Social & Membership Drive. This event will feature free pizza, wings, salads, and soft drinks (alcoholic beverages will be the responsibility of the guests). The San Diego chapter has just been awarded the INCOSE Platinum Circle Award for the 8th straight year! Come help them celebrate this incredible achievement!!!

INCOSE is a not-for-profit membership organization founded to develop and disseminate the interdisciplinary principles and practices that enable the realization of successful systems. Being a systems engineering organization, their members tend to be part of larger corporations, which would make for synergies with specialized consultants. Moreover, the local chapter has been interested in collaborating with IEEE to help raise awareness of both organizations. Many systems engineers come from project engineering backgrounds in electrical, mechanical, or aerospace fields (and of course, computer science). Should be a great networking event of peers!

IEEE Consultants’ Network of San Diego (IEEE/CNSD) is an invaluable resource for consulting information and a premier source of technical talent . Membership in the IEEE Consultants’ Network of San Diego (IEEE/CNSD) is open to both members and non-members of the IEEE. No membership application is necessary to join, just come to our monthly meetings. Because networking is an important part of membership, we strongly encourage you to attend the monthly meetings.
