This month we will be on the UCSD campus (with complementary parking!) supporting their Institute for the Global Entrepreneur (IGE) and keeping in mind that they are always looking for mentors for their entrepreneurs.

This showcase puts you in the room with UCSD Engineering, MedTech, and MBA startups transitioning out of graduate research labs and into the commercial market. It’s a great place to swap technical insights directly with the founders, talk through their actual scaling bottlenecks, or explore technical advisory board and mentor roles. Even if you are just looking to see what’s coming out of the labs right now, it’s a low-pressure way to connect with the local deep-tech ecosystem and help guide the next wave of innovators.

IGE is hosting its annual showcase, highlighting UCSD Faculty, Students, and Alumni Startups. See demos, meet with founders, and learn how IGE continues to make an impact with our industry partners and investors to bring more technologies to market.

Startups from the IGE MedTech Accelerator and UCSD Office of Innovation & Commercialization Horizon Accelerator will be highlighted, featuring startups in
MedTech, BioTech, Therapeutics, AI, Machine Learning, IoT, SAAS, Energy, Green & BlueTech, Materials Science and Sustainability.

IEEE Consultants’ Network of San Diego (IEEE/CNSD) is an invaluable resource for consulting information and a premier source of technical talent . You will meet experienced practitioners as well as others new to consulting. Speakers discuss broad range of topics, such as taxes, marketing, finances, fee setting, software and liability insurance. The network is also a source of potential clients.

Our members are comprised of independent technology consultants who are specialists in all forms of electronics, communications, chip design, computer software, defense technology, electro-mechanical hardware, power systems, new product development, quality assurance, reliability, technology management, business development, and intellectual property law.

Membership in the IEEE Consultants’ Network of San Diego (IEEE/CNSD) is open to both members and non-members of the IEEE. No membership application is necessary to join, just come to our monthly meetings. Because networking is an important part of membership, we strongly encourage you to attend the monthly meetings.
