Tom Pham is a Renaissance man, a member of the San Diego Independent Scholars organization and typical of the scholars in that group. He is a professional computer programmer by training and also very interest in philosophy and independent study. Aristotle wrote six books on logic, collectively called The Organon. Tom will focus on the fifth book, titled Topics, in which reasoning is derived through developing arguments from commonly held opinions. Those opinions are formed through question and answer. A very timely topic!
