Hands-on Lock Picking Activity

Details
"Security is a complex and connected web. Though there are many different categories within the all-encompassing field of security, there are still certain lessons that translate across the disciplines. Physical security can largely be seen as a manifestation of the ethereal elements of cyber security. Both the digital and the physical worlds of security rely on the same basic principles. Though they may require different tools and skills to be truly understood, there are several lessons lock pickers can teach you about cyber security." - Ralph Goodman
When Scott Kennedy hosted the "Anatomy of a Hacker" presentation in March 2017, he mentioned he regularly has his team at Intuit pick physical locks as an exercise in security. Since then, we have received multiple requests from you all to host a meetup with this activity.
We are very pleased to announce this hands-on lock picking event will be taking place at our next meetup on Thursday July 19th, 2018 at 6:00pm at Intuit's campus!
Lock equipment, food, and beverages will be provided!
