K-8 Robotics: Binary Jokes

Details
We're headed southward to help find Robotic enthusiasts! We will be focusing on initial introductions and finding out the needs of our members related to STEM education with a heavy emphasis on Educational Robotics. If you're a parent we'll talk about how to get your kids engaged in robotics as well options for home & school use. If you're an educator we'll talk about how to get things rolling inside your school day and/or how to run an after school program. If you'd like to volunteer to help support a program or you're just curious about robotics, that's cool too...everybody is welcome!
Why Robotics? Having taught STEM classes to K-12 students over nearly 20 years, the most effective and engaging programs have consistently been the educational robotics classes! We'll discuss how to get involved in one of the many programs out there and if you're really interested and have kids/students ages 7-13 we'll see if we can get them participating in a self competitive event on June 1st!! This location will be the site of future STEM collaborations and trainings and just so happens to be the office of another nonprofit: https://bordereducationproject.org/
