When I started organizing Legal Hackers events a few years ago, I was mostly writing software (with a JD), but wasn't actively practicing law. Now that I have my own practice, I've been learning a ton about the practical tech that goes into operating a small practice. I think it would be great to have a chance to share notes with other local practitioners. So I've setup this interactive conversation designed for solo and small-firm attorneys.
This is not a lecture, but a true exchange of knowledge. We all navigate the complex world of software and AI, and this is our chance to learn directly from each other.
This is your opportunity to ask, "What are you using for client intake?" or "How do I use AI and protect client data?" and get honest answers from fellow practitioners. Whether you have a favorite app to share, a tech frustration to solve, or are just starting to build your stack, your voice and experience are welcome.
The goal is for everyone to leave with at least one new idea, a potential solution to a nagging problem, or a new connection in the San Diego legal community.
