Learning SQL Queries -- Kickoff Session
Details
Learning SQL Queries -- Kickoff Session
SQL is a useful skill for data scientists which often appears in job descriptions and interviews. The SDML book club will be meeting Tuesdays for an introduction to writing SQL queries. This series will focus on the practical side of writing SQL to pull data out of a database. We will be using the book Sams Teach Yourself SQL in 10 Minutes by Ben Forta (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0135182794/) as our primary source. This series is open to beginners and has no prerequisites.
The kickoff session will introduce the format for the series and allow book readers to meet each other. We recommend you get your copy of the book prior to the first session. Everyone is welcome!
