This is an experimental event at an experimental location to gauge demand for a Mahjong event during the middle of the week.

The format played at this event is Zung Jung — an easy-to-learn format — and we provide easy-to-use cheat sheets, quick reference cards, and friendly instruction so you can pick it up as you play. Some members expressed interest in playing at Denny's over Brewski's so this event is meant to test that location and look at how the membership likes it

Join us for an exciting and challenging game of Riichi (Japanese) Mahjong! Everyone is welcome, but this event is designed for players already familiar with the basic rules of Mahjong.

New players are welcome to give it a try — just know that Riichi is one of the more complex Mahjong variants and has a steeper learning curve than other styles. If you’re up for the challenge, we’ll be happy to have you at the table!
