TRAIL WORK Wagon Wheel Bridge,Penasqitos
Details
Help us keep Wagon Wheel bridge in Rancho Penesquitos safe for the rainy season. The recent short but fierce rains broke loose massive Reed mats that have piled against the bridge endangering it to further water damage. We will be working to clear this debris and store it safely away from the bridge. The concern is with rain's possible this coming week that water could build against the bridge putting unnecessary pressure and damaging it.
We'll meet at the Western parking lot at Sorrento Valley Rd. and hike approximately 3/4 mi to the bridge location. There is a possibility of having to work in water so wear clothes you're not afraid to get wet or muddy.
