Trail Maintenance - Cuyamaca Rancho State Park

Details

## Details

Cuyamaca Rancho State Park has generously provided us with free camping for this trailwork event. The plan is to arrive Friday afternoon, set up camp, and go for an evening MTB ride (bring lights just in case). Russell Barabe will guide folks if they wish, but you are also free to ride in your own groups. Please note, if you camp you are required to do trailwork. If you do not wish to camp, you can still show up to assist with trailwork. Free camping is available through Sunday if people are interested. You are responsible for bringing all of your own camping items and food. Camping will be at the Mickey James Volunteer Horse Camp (32.925875 -116.560274). Pull into the Visitors' Center on Hwy 79, then keep right. As you go down the hill the camp area is on the right.

PLEASE NOTE WE ARE MEETING ONE HOUR EARLIER AT 0800!!!

We will be brushing the La Cima/Green Valley connector at Cuyamaca Rancho State Park/Anza Borrego Desert State Park. No experience necessary. Tasks will include trimming and clearing trail of brush which is encroaching on the trail.

Meeting location Saturday morning is at Pedro Fages Monument located on the north side of Sunrise Highway. See map below.
