Trail Work - CamRu Trail (Camino Ruiz-Mira Mesa)

Details
The Camino Ruiz Trail is a short but delightful 0.6‑mile multi-use trail that descends about 200 feet from the rim of Los Peñasquitos Canyon down through shaded oak tunnels into the riparian valley below. It has been some time since there has been any planned work and the trail is in need of some TLC.
Join SDMBA and the Los Penasquitos Canyon Preserve Rangers to help improve sightlines while ensuring the beloved dwarf oaks that provide the enclosed canopy remain intact. There will be brush trimming and light tread work. We openly welcome first time trail enthusiast eager to learn what it take to keep trails safe, fun, and inviting.
