Benefit Ride and Potluck for Victims of Typhoon Haiyan

We were beyond relieved to hear that our parents and extended family were safe after Typhoon Haiyan ravaged through the Philippines. Nonetheless, we can not help but feel for the thousands of victims affected by this disaster. We would like to encourage everybody to help support us in a benefit for those victims.
This Saturday, November 16th, we would like to do a benefit ride around Point Loma, Downtown and Mission Bay to raise funds and materials for the Philippine Red Cross. Those of you with Filipino friends know that Filipinos love potlucks, so we'd like to also do a potluck with everybody after the ride is completed, so please bring your favorite dish to share.
Suggested Donation is $5 or more and any clean clothes, shoes, and/or blankets to help those in need.

Meet at the Liberty Station Park at Cushing and Womble.
Meet at 7:30 and wheels roll out at 8:00am.
Just around 25 miles and mostly flat with a few rollers. This is meant to be a beginner friendly route and we would like everybody to stay together for everybody's safety. Helmets are of course mandatory.
