Honoring life, memory and the land at Rose Canyon
Details
This fall, we return to our beloved Rose Canyon to honor the cycles of life, death, and renewal—using the wisdom of the land as a mirror for our own hearts.
This walk is inspired by Día de Muertos, celebrated in Mexico each year on this date to honor loved ones who have passed while recognizing the ongoing connection between life and memory.
Our walk will be a space to honor those who have passed—not with sadness, but with joy, reflection, and connection.
You’re invited to bring a flower, stone, letter, or other meaningful offering to reflect and celebrate someone who lives in your heart.
We’ll move slowly and mostly in silence, noticing the land, the light, the sounds, and the subtle life around us. Midway, we’ll pause to sit, breathe, and ground ourselves, allowing space to integrate what we’ve received. A gentle sharing circle follows for anyone who feels called to speak, before we walk back together, leaving room for conversation and connection.
Our walks are about presence, connection, reciprocity, and respect—for the land, for each other, and for ourselves.
This special walk is an opportunity to bring that intention into celebration of life and memory.
We look forward to walking with you!
